Transport and storage
- Keep balloons indoors when possible. If taken outside, attach a weight to each ribbon and keep ribbons short.
- Vehicle tips: do not block visibility; keep away from hot surfaces; secure ribbons so doors don’t pull balloons out.
- Hotel/venue: use painter’s tape on glass/metal only; never attach to sprinklers, smoke/heat detectors, or exit signs.
- Power safety: outdoors, keep far from overhead lines and use heavy bases in wind.
Note: Building and city rules vary. Always follow posted house rules and staff guidance.

Venue rules
- Attach a weight to every helium balloon. Keep ribbons short and walk paths clear.
- Keep all decor away from sprinklers, detectors, exit signs, and HVAC returns.
- Many regions discourage or prohibit balloon releases. Keep balloons indoors or securely weighted outdoors.
- For outdoor setups, anchor each bouquet individually; avoid overhead lines and windy corners.
Kids and pets
- Latex balloons and broken pieces are a choking hazard. Keep uninflated balloons from children; discard broken balloons at once.
- Always supervise young children around balloons and ribbons.
- Keep balloons and weights out of pet reach; store overnight in a closed room if needed.
Disposal
- Do not release balloons outdoors. Deflate and dispose in household trash.
- Reuse weights and ribbons where possible.
- Follow hotel/venue waste rules for cleanup.
